About JedHead
Built for the Trade.
We started JedHead because trade businesses were getting burned by generic designers who didn't understand the work — and pretty wraps that said nothing. We lead with messaging strategy before design, because a beautiful brand that says nothing still loses.

The Founder
Jed Colledge
Most contractors don't have a business problem. They have a brand problem — they just don't know it yet.
Jed spent over a decade as a creative director inside billion-dollar organizations where brand wasn't decoration, it was the competitive edge. When he stepped into the vehicle wrap industry, he saw the same failure everywhere: capable contractors hiding behind forgettable logos, cookie-cutter color schemes, and trucks you couldn't read from 50 yards.
JedHead exists for owner-operators who do meaningful work and are tired of watching less-capable competitors win jobs on looks. The process always starts with one question: what does it take for a total stranger — one who just caught a three-second glimpse of your truck — to decide you're the call they're going to make?
Jed's father was a machinist. Every contractor who works with JedHead isn't just a client — they're an owner who built something real, and they deserve a brand that finally looks like it.
Your work is already there.
Your brand isn't.
We close the gap.

Why We Exist
There Was a Gap No One Was Filling
Most agencies do decent design. Most vinyl shops do affordable wraps. But almost nobody starts with the question that actually matters: what should this brand say, and why will customers remember it?
Strategy-first branding for trade businesses — where the message drives the design, not the other way around — was a lane nobody was explicitly in. That's ours.
The result is brands that don't just look established — they communicate something customers can repeat to their neighbors. That's what drives the direct searches, faster closes, and premium pricing.

How We Work
What We Stand For
Messaging First
Design without strategy produces forgettable results by definition. Every engagement starts with what the brand should say, then moves to how it looks.
Single Point of Accountability
In-house printing plus a vetted installer network means one relationship, one quality standard, and no finger-pointing between vendors.
Clarity Over Cleverness
If a stranger can't repeat back what your company does after seeing your truck once, the message isn't done. We test everything against that standard.
Trade-Specific
We work exclusively with trade businesses. The Commodity Trap hits differently in roofing versus HVAC versus plumbing. We know the difference.
History
How We Got Here
2020
First Fleet Rollout
JedHead starts with a single client — a local plumber who was losing jobs to a weaker competitor. The rebrand and fleet wrap changed the conversation. That client is still with us.
2022
The Commodity Trap Framework
After dozens of client conversations, a pattern emerged. Trade owners weren't losing to cheaper — they were losing to the company customers remembered. The Commodity Trap framing was born.
2023
In-House Print Production
Opened our own print facility to control quality from concept to installation. No more shipping between vendors. One standard, every time.
2024
Nationwide Installer Network
Vetted and onboarded installation partners across the country, enabling consistent rollouts from Utah to Florida without flying a crew.
2025
Brand Recall Framework
Codified the Brand Recall scoring system — the diagnostic that identifies where recall is leaking before any money is spent on wraps or design.
